A: Waterproof and water-resistant are two different concepts. Waterproof sticker will fulfill its purpose even when submerged under the water and will last for a longer period of time. A water-resistant sticker will degrade itself in a shorter period of time as the coating degenerates. Water-resistant stickers eventually yield moisture, making them unfit for use. Therefore, waterproof stickers are not same as water-resistant stickers.
