How sharing works
You create a share link from My Projects. The link works for 24 hours. After that, it stops working and you need to share a new one.
You can send the link to anyone you want. They can accept or ignore the shared project but please note they will need to log in or create a Vistaprint account to save the project.
When they accept, a copy appears in their account. They can change the copy however they like.
Their changes do not affect your original project.
Share your project
Go to My Projects.
Find your project and select Share a copy.
Select Copy Link.
Send the link to the person you want.
Open a project shared with you
Click the link or paste it into your browser.
Sign in to your account if you are asked to.
Select Accept to add the project to your account.
Good to know
You get a copy of the design only. You do not get the sender's uploads or photos. For example, you accept a canvas with a photo of the sender's dog. You can edit or buy that canvas. But that photo will not be in your uploads to use on other projects.
Fix a problem
Your link has expired.
Links work for 24 hours. Ask the sender to send you a new link.
Some photos are missing from the copy.
Upload the images again to your project copy. If you need the original files, ask the sender to send them to you.
You get an error when you select Accept.
Sign in to your VistaPrint account.
Clear your browser cache, cookies and history.
Try again in a private or incognito window.
You see "Sorry, we're unable to open this shared project right now. Please try again later."
The sender may have deleted the project. Ask them to make a new project and send you a new link.
