A: An electroplated metal sticker has a genuine deposited metal layer that creates a raised, reflective surface you can feel. Gold foil stickers and similar metallic labels are printed with foil-effect ink or lamination — visually similar at a glance, but flat to the touch and without the depth of true plating.
